International Conference on Mathematics of Neuroscience and AI
Activities
An interdisciplinary scientific conference on the foundations of intelligence.
Our International Conference on the Mathematics of Neuroscience and AI (neuromonster) is Thinking About Thinking’s peer-reviewed scientific conference focused on the biological, mathematical, and computational foundations of intelligence.
The conference brings together researchers working across neuroscience, cognitive science, machine learning, applied mathematics, theoretical computer science, and related fields to examine how intelligence is represented, learned, and instantiated in both biological and artificial systems.
Upcoming Neuromonster Events
7th International Conference on the Mathematics of Neuroscience and AI, Rome 2026
Neuromonster returns to Rome for a multi-day scientific gathering bringing together researchers and theorists working on the biological, mathematical, and computational foundations of intelligence.
Call For Papers
We invite submissions for The 7th International Conference on the Mathematics of Neuroscience and AI 2026, our flagship scientific conference taking place in Rome, Greece, in June 2026.
Submissions should present original research, technical analysis, or theoretical work that advances understanding of intelligence at the intersection of neuroscience, artificial intelligence mathematics, and computation.
Neuromonster particularly welcomes work that:
Addresses foundational questions
Bridges multiple disciplines
Clarifies assumptions and limits of existing models
Connects formal theory with empirical insight
